MASKED WOLF

Harry Michael, professionally known as Masked Wolf, is an Australian rapper hailing from Sydney, New South Wales. He gained significant recognition with his track "Astronaut in the Ocean," which emerged as a sleeper hit in 2021. The song reached number 4 on the Australian ARIA Charts and number 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100, despite its initial release back in June 2019.

Michael signed with Teamwrk Records and made his debut with "Speed Racer" in December 2018. His subsequent releases were all under this label until 2021, when "Astronaut in the Ocean" was re-released.

On January 28, 2021, Harry Michael inked a deal with US-based label Elektra Records, a part of the Warner Music Group, spanning multiple albums. Elektra represents his music globally, except for Australia and New Zealand, where Teamwrk Records continues to represent him. In a statement, Michael expressed his excitement about joining Elektra, emphasizing their commitment to artist development and song care.

In June 2021, Michael dropped the single "Gravity Glidin," which debuted and peaked at number 40 on the NZ Hot Singles Chart. He followed it up on July 8 with the release of "Say So," which reached number twenty on the NZ Hot Singles Chart.

His Spotify growth was notable, with over 27 million new listeners in the first half of the year. Masked Wolf also performed at the virtual festival Splendour XR on July 24.

On September 4, he announced his debut mixtape, "Astronomical," and released the single "Razor's Edge," featuring X Ambassadors. The mixtape itself was released on September 10.

In November 2021, Masked Wolf collaborated with Bebe Rexha on "It's You, Not Me (Sabotage)," a reimagined version of Rexha's own track "Sabotage."
