Guz Hardy & J Luke are an Italian EDM band formed in Catania, Sicily, in 2020. The duo, consisting of Gianluca 'Guz Hardy' Guzzardi and Gianluca 'J Luke' Viglianisi, blends EDM, Dance Pop, and Pop in their music. Guz Hardy handles DJing, songwriting, and music production, while J Luke is a performer and songwriter. They started their collaboration as a cover tribute band and signed their first single, "I Can't Let You Go" (feat. Reiwa), with the independent Belgian label 'CMG' (Creativ Music Group) on June 15, 2019. The song achieved success, reaching the top 50 Radio Airplay Dance Charts in Africa (#42) and South America (#50). Their second single, "Comfort Zone," was released on November 8, 2019, via CMG and was later licensed by Reload Music and Sony Music Italy in Italy. They released "Gravity" on February 21, 2020, along with their first official music video on YouTube, garnering global recognition on playlists such as 'Top Billboard 2020 This Week' and 'Top 50 Discover of the Week.' The song has accumulated almost 1 million combined streams on digital platforms.

On June 12, 2020, they collaborated with London songwriter Sasha Brown on "Live My Life," which reached the General iTunes Chart Top 200 in Italy (#120) and the UK (#174). The song was later remixed by international DJ Jean Marie, earning a spot on the Beatport Top 20 Chart for Electro House Genre at #20. In the fall of 2020, they established their own label, Deserve Records, and released their debut track "Close To You" on October 16, 2020, featuring Scottish singer Kirsty Grant. The song garnered over half a million streams on Spotify alone. In December 2020, they participated in a charity project called "Future Kids" alongside other DJs, which was distributed by Sony Music Entertainment and featured a special guest star, Snoop Dogg. In 2021, they released two singles: "My Dream" in collaboration with XFactor Italia finalist Samuel Storm, and "Believe," a remake of Cher's 90s hit, in collaboration with international DJ Jean Marie.
